Description

The Dahua IP video intercom Wi-Fi kit consists of the VTO2111D-WP outdoor station and the VTH5221DW Wi-Fi indoor monitor. A 8Gb microSD card is included.

The Dahua VTO2111D-WP is a wireless WiFi intercom outdoor station with a Mifare card reader for operating an electric door lock. The outdoor station can be used with the free Dahua DMSS mobile app. The Dahua VTO2111D-WP can very easily be connected to the WiFi network and the smartphone app by scanning the QR code on the back of the VTO2111D-WP with the smartphone app. With a 4G or Wi-Fi connection on your smartphone an audio/video call can take place anywhere in the world. Port forwarding and other settings on your router is not necessary.

Features
The outdoor station features a 1 megapixel HD camera with a very wide viewing angle of 105 degrees and is equipped with an ICR infrared filter for clear night vision. The Dahua VTO2111D-WP is made of durable plastic and has an IP65 classification for outdoor use. The VTO2111D-WP has a sensitive omnidirectional microphone and a speaker for clear conversation. In addition to the mobile app the VTO2111D-WP can be used with one or more intercom Dahua within monitors. When someone at the door pushes the ring button the outdoor station sends a push notification directly to the smartphone and if a indoor monitor is connected it will ring. Live images of the outdoor station can be viewed at any time with the app or with an indoor monitor.

The outdoor station has a built-in relay which can be wired connected to an electric door lock to unlock a door remotely or on the outdoor station by a Mifare card. Under the tab “Related” compatible Mifare tags and Mifare cards can be found. An external RS485 relay (Dahua DEE1010B) can be wired connected to the outdoor sation for unlocking a second door or fence. For additional safety the DEE1010B relay can be used instead of the built-in relay and be placed inside the building. There is the possibility to connect an exit button to the outdoor station for unlocking a door to exit. Compatible exit buttons can be found under the “Related” tab.

With special firmware it is possible to connect an external doorbell to the VTO2111D-WP and let it ring when the push button is pressed. The built-in relay for controlling an electric lock or a gate can with the special firmware no longer be used. With the special firmware the Dahua DEE1010B relay must be used to control an electrical lock or a gate. Under the tab “Options” a firmware update with the special firmware can be co-ordered. The delivery time will be a few days longer in case a firmware update has to performed.

The outdoor station can be configured and managed in the built-in web interface using a browser on a Windows PC. The VTO2111D-WP works with the free smartPSS Dahua Video Management Software (VMS) for Windows. Snapshots and audio/video messages can be recorded on a microSD card of up to 64Gb placed in the VTO2111D-WP. Uploading to an FTP server is also possible. The video images can also be recorded to a Network Video Recorder (NVR).

The web interface and the voice can be set in Dutch, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, English and Spanish.

Mounting
The Dahua VTO2111D-WP can be powered with a not included 12VDC adapter or by Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af). For ease of installation we advise to also order two DC connectors (female) for the outdoor station and indoor monitor when using an adapter with a DC connector. Suitable adapters and DC connectors can be found under the tab “Related”. Under the tab “Related” some compatible PoE injectors and switches can also be found. The Dahua VTO2111D-WP can not be connected to the Dahua VTNS1060A intercom switch.

The Dahua VTH5221DW is a wireless WiFi 7-inch indoor monitor with a glass touch screen color display for use in a wired or wireless Dahua IP intercom system. The Dahua VTH5221DW has a white bezel.

Features
With the VTH5221DW indoor monitor an audio and video conversation can be held with a person standing at an outdoor station or between monitors. The Dahua VTH5221DW can be used as a wired or wireless monitor in a wired or wireless Dahua IP intercom system. The VTH5221DW can be the only monitor in a Dahua intercom system but can for example also be added wireless as an extra monitor to an existing wired Dahua IP video intercom system.

The monitor has a microSD card slot for recording. Two doors can be unlocked from the monitor. The VTH5221DW can also display the video images of Dahua or ONVIF compatible IP cameras.

The high resolution 1024×600 pixel touch screen monitor has a capacitive (hard glass) screen as is used on modern smartphones. The language of the indoor monitor can be set in Dutch, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, English or Spanish.

Mounting
The monitor is surface mounted and can be connected using WiFi or connected with a network cable to a switch or router. The monitor can be powered with a network cable using a PoE switch or PoE injector. The monitor can also be powered with a not included 12VDC adapter. A bracket for the indoor monitor is included.
